Fitness regulations vary by country, and in many places, the industry is self-regulated, meaning a formal certification may not be required to teach Barre.
However, having a recognized barre certification can be a significant advantage when applying for a job. Industry recognition is crucial, and completing the Barre Burn Teacher Training places you among a community of teacher known for their exceptional quality and expertise.
Barre Burn is an Approved Provider of NSMA, AFFA and ISSA. We encourage you to research the specific requirements for teaching Barre in your country to ensure no additional credentials are needed.

To receive your Barre Burn Certification you need to:
- Attend/participate in 100% of our in-person training hours OR online course
- Complete the online Health & Safety + Anatomy modules including all quizzes and exams (with an 80% pass rate for each section)
- Complete the required Observation Hours + Reflection Questions
- Submit your Barre Assessment which includes 3 parts: 1.) A video of you teaching a Barre Burn Class to a minimum of 3 participants. 2.) Your written Roadmap sequence to support your video. 3.) Complete the self-evaluation form.

Yes — we’ve got you. After completing the online units and while preparing for your final video submission, you can book a 30-minute mentorship call with us. This is your chance to ask questions, refine your roadmap, and feel confident before filming. Full details can be found inside the course.
No problem. If you need more time beyond the 6-month deadline, you can request an extension and submit at a later date for an additional 500 AED. Simply email us to arrange this.
