Our in-person Barre Burn Teacher Training is an immersive 25-hour experience spread over 4-5 days, designed to get you moving, teaching, and mastering the method firsthand. This hands-on training dives deep into movement, teaching tools, sequencing strategies, choreography, props, and more. Expect to be physical—learning by doing is at the heart of our approach! Throughout the course, you'll have opportunities to lead short demos, helping you find your voice and put the Barre Burn method into practice. With real-time feedback and plenty of repetition, you'll refine your skills, build confidence, and walk away ready to own the room with your teaching.
After completing the in-person portion of your training, you'll receive a Certificate of Participation. To earn your full international Barre Burn Certification, you’ll need to complete the online units covering anatomy, health & safety, and pass the final exam and video assessment.

Your journey to certification!
Following your attendance of the 25-hour in-person teacher training and online units, your journey culminates in an online final exam with multiple-choice questions covering all course units. You must complete this exam within 6 months of purchase and an 80% score is required to pass, but you’ll have a second attempt if needed.
After the final day of the in-person training, you have six months to submit your Barre Burn Assessment, which includes a written Roadmap sequence, a 50-minute video of you teaching a Barre Burn class to at least three people, and a self-evaluation. Full details on assessment criteria are provided in the course. If a retake is needed, an additional fee applies.
Once you’ve successfully completed and passed all requirements, you’ll earn your official Barre Burn Teacher Certification! Plus, we’re proud to be an Approved Provider of ISSA. This not only validates the quality and integrity of our course but also ensures that our participants receive internationally recognized continuing education credits. It’s a testament to the comprehensive, innovative approach we’ve taken to ensure the Barre Burn Teacher Training stands out as a top-tier program in the fitness and wellness industry.
How long will it take?
Barre Burn isn’t a race—it’s a journey, and your timeline depends on your learning style, experience, and how much time you dedicate to sweating, studying, and soaking it all in!
Here’s the breakdown:
Course Content – You’ll watch videos, read, and learn the ins and outs of the Barre Burn method. But just checking the boxes won’t cut it—you need to embody the method, not just skim it!
Practice & Application – Teaching isn’t only about memorization, it’s also about movement. You’ll need time to practice cueing, sequencing, and transitions so your classes flows like a dream. This isn’t just about crushing a single class—it’s about creating lasting habits so you can show up, time and time again, delivering high-energy, top-tier, unforgettable experiences for your barretenders, every single time!
Exams & Assessments – The multiple-choice exam is a quick flex of your knowledge, but the final video submission takes time to prep, practice, and record (yep, with at least three barretenders! Time to call in some favors from friends and family.)
So, how long will it take? Some power through in a month, while others pace themselves over the full six months—there’s no “one size fits all.” The goal? Absorb, apply, and step into your role as a confident, Barre Boss!
